| You DO NOT have to donate money to use MacroMaker for personal home use, only if you want to. But please think about it. Since 2000 I have received about 20 donations, yet the software has been downloaded millions of times all over the world. If 1/10th of the people that downloaded it donated a couple of dollars I could easily afford to go to work adding more functionality, make organizing macros easier, making the user interface better, make the help file more thorough, work on a version for the new Windows operating system that is coming out and so much more. | MacroMaker has been tested on Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, 2003 and XP and should have no problem running on any 32 bit Microsoft Windows operating system. |
| MacroMaker allows you to create macros or recordings to automate most anything that you already do by hand. MacroMaker was written more for the use of people who regularly use computers and programmers rather than the casual PC user. Most anything you know how to do by hand can be translated into a macro or recording in MacroMaker. |

| The user can simulate a series of keystrokes, mouse events, play back previous recordings of keystrokes and mouse events or execute some built-in functions with just a keystroke. You can even store content from the clipboard in internal MacroMaker buffers for later use. |
| In order to install MacroMaker you must have "Windows Installer 2.0 Redistributable or later" loaded on your machine. If the MacroMakerInst.msi file will not execute on your machine, you must find the installation, on Microsoft's web site, for the appropriate version of the installer based upon the operating system you are running. Follow Microsoft's instructions for installation of the installer and after which try to execute the MacroMakerInst.msi file again. If you still have no luck, click here for instructions on how to manually install MacroMaker. |
| After installation of MacroMaker you will have to manually run the application the first time or reboot you machine. MacroMaker automatically opens on startup. When it starts up you will see the MacroMaker icon appear in the system tray beside your clock. Click it once and the main application window will appear. |
