The Nor-Vise Centerline Concept

The NOR-VISE concept is to position the hook shank on the centerline of rotation and then turn the hook rather than wrap hand over hand around the hook. A thread post, aligned with the center of rotation, permits material to be "turned" onto the hook without the tying thread being wrapped on at the same time. An adjustable friction clamp will position the hook at any angle and a sliding rear hub will lock it every 90°. Rather than simply rotate, however, the NOR-VISE is designed to spin. This ability is the key factor and why you can "TIE BETTER FLIES FASTER".

The Nor-Vise System

THE NOR-VISE SYSTEM is designed around a sturdy anodized aluminum frame and matching thread post bolted
securely to a tying board or table. The NOR-VISE SYSTEM will accommodate a variety of (Jaw) designs that can
be quickly and easily mounted onto the arbor. Although it is possible to tie nearly any size, type or style of fly
with any of these jaw designs each is intended to fit a specific need.
