Capt. Buddy Gutierrez a Florida native and lifelong fisherman in the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg area, specializing in sight fishing for Redfish, Trout and Snook. “As a professional fishing guide, and businessman, I know the value of using the best equipment for the job. My boat, hardware and tackle must be top notch. But when it comes to saltwater flies, I really get picky. The fly, after all, is the only piece of gear that you can throw in the water and attract fish. No rod, reel, or fly line will interest a big snook or redfish. I have used Dan’s Custom Flies for several years on my charter boat. They give me confidence that I am using the finest custom lure I can get. First I know that I’m using a high quality fly that will not fall apart, and second, I know that the fly tier has fished the patterns himself and knows they are effective. Dan’s D.C. Wiggler is the mainstay of my redfish fly box.  Dan’s baitfish imitations are the best all around flies I use. I have one name for all the flies I get from Dan; ‘Will Flies’. Because I know they will catch fish.”

Captain Tom Tamanini has been fly-fishing and guiding since 1980 and specializes in night time fly-fishing for snook, redfish, and trout.  Tom has guided all over the state and now spends most of his time  fishing in West Central Florida, from Anclote to Charlotte Harbor. "The fly patterns that I use have to be tied perfectly to fool snook under the lights at night. They really have time to look over your offering as you bring it by them and if it is not riding correctly or moving naturally, it will not produce.  A few years ago, any well tied Clouser; Deceiver or Seaducer pattern would work. But Danny has come up with some great flies that out fish any I've used.  My nighttime selection includes Dan's Neerly Live Bait, D.C. Wiggler, Dan's Epoxy Glass Minnow.  These are the standards that are a permanently in my fly box. But the deadliest of all are Dan's Mr. Whitebait and Savajoe Minnow. These are the two flies I do not leave the dock without."

Captain Linsey Harper  fishes the vast crystal clear flats and shallow water
banks of the Lower Florida Keys, Key West and the Marquesa's offer the fly
and light tackle angler classic knee knocking confrontation with huge Tarpon,
trophy sized Bonefish, elusive Permit, streaking Barracuda, Shark, Cobia
and a host of other species.

This is sight casting at it's finest, where you pick your target. My boat is a
state of the art 17-foot Maverick Mirage HP which enable us to pole after t
he fish in just about any conditions. I have been running boats in Key West since
1988 and in the Caribbean five years prior to that. I work just as hard for the
beginner as I do for the seasoned veterans, with patience, instruction, and
most importantly, a good sense of humor.

Captain Rob Blake  specializes in targeting redfish and other flats species of the Indian River Lagoon. Our charters are pure sight fishing on the flats. Capt. Rob Blake is absolutely obsessed with saltwater fly and light tackle fishing. Rob spends countless days on the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River searching for redfish and other flats species.
"I use the D.C. Wiggler and the Sava Crab quite frequently on Mosquito Lagoon redfish with great success. As for durability, I have a DC Wiggler that is well over 4 months old that is still bringing them to the boat. As for bonefish, I have caught over a dozen on the Sava Crab alone. Again-very durable flies."
