Private schools are lauded, and government schools are panned in new specialty
license plate proposals (at http://rexcurry.net/schools and below).
The specialty tags call for privatizing socialized schools, and for protecting
private schools. Florida would lead the nation as the first state to
have such libertarian license plates.
That government schools and universities still exist,
is proof that government schools failed to teach current students or past
students (parents, grandparents, etc.) to handle the educational needs of
their families. Government does not intend to teach individuals how
to function without government schools, in a society of economic and personal
freedom. Individuals can teach that lesson to the bureaucrats
by ending government schools.
During my legal career, parents have asked me if it is
wise (or constitutional) for government to control everyone’s education.
The separation of school and state, is as important as the separation of
church and state. The tags help fight antidisestablishmentarianism.
